Can you recommend other good guides for Adobe products too? Premiere, Flash (for video), etc? – Dean Oct 9 at 15:51
as newbie to After Effects, I love the step by step video screencasts from Video Copilot's tutorials: videocopilot.net/tutorials – VIDinLA Nov 15 at 18:41

PCF, which runs Video WTF, also makes a site called Make Internet TV, an introduction to video making that covers choosing a camera, lighting, sound, editing, publishing, promoting, etc.

Here it is: http://makeinternettv.com/

Freevlog is a good one. Ryanne has a whole series on how to plan, shoot, edit, and post a "web documentary" using a flip camera and iMovie: http://freevlog.org/learn

Check out the "Telling Stories" series.

I few that I don't see -

The DV show is another good one. They have a small price member service, but I've gained some good information from the regular podcasts.

Lynda.com many free tutorials on the very basics of programs. Yearly($300) and monthly(25, i think) to access the rest. Larry Jordan & Ken Stone e-newsletters
