Hi i'm currently editing a video and in part of it there is an interview and while the audio is ok for one half of the conversation, the other is nearly unaudioable, is there anyway of spiking it for the weak half of the conversation? i know this was possible for iMovie HD but with 09 this doesn't seem to be possible?

You should be able to bring the audio down but not sure how exactly in iMovie 09. I'd check the iMovie forums. Sounds like you know what you're doing so you probably know that it's almost impossible to fix really poor audio. It's unfortunate. |

The poor sound editing options in latter iMovie-Versions are the reason why I kept my good ol' iMovie06HD, which is perfectly okay with the license. |

Yes it is possible! You can just use >Edit>Split Clip to split part of the clip that needs the audio adjusted Then double click the clip that need the audio adjusted click on the audio tab and then raise the audio up. |
