I was wondering how do you guys download movies from hulu? I have an youtube downloader but I couldn't download hulu's movies with it. Or should I use anything else to record hulu? Thanks

Did anyone try Tunebite? Because I saw some posts that it can download movies from hulu by capturing video streaming. I also found a nice tutorial about how to record movies or shows from hulu. Besides that I saw that it can be used as YouTube Downloader and as universal converter as it converts both audio and video files to any format you want: avi, wmw, mp3, even to 3gp. Didn't try it myself, I was thinking that you might have tried, but I'll definitely try. |

Well, if you cannot download hulu movies with that youtube downloader, means that those files are not flash video and you must to find a solution to capture hulu's shows, a screencapturing software. You should try replay media catcher, I don't use it but it must capture video streams. And I guess it can convert hulu's movies in order to watch them on dvd player or any other devices. |

Try putting 'link' before hulu in the url. It works for Youtube and a few other hosts. I can't test it for Hulu here in the UK since Hulu a is a US only thing. For YT it works like this... h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUYFPw8G2JQ becomes h ttp://www.linkyoutube.com/watch?v=JUYFPw8G2JQ Select the MP4 option. |

Of course it does not work to download Hulu videos, that works only in the case of YouTube videos as Mambbo already noticed, and I'm pretty sure that thing with adding all sorts of words in the YouTube url doesn't work all the time anyways. Just to be clear on this: Hulu videos indeed used to be in flv format and probably you could easily use any Hulu Downloader to record Hulu videos but this is not possible anymore because Hulu encrypted them by using some RTMP-e format for their streams. As far as I know Replay Media Catcher is not able anymore to download Hulu videos; also tried some tool called Hulu Grabber but this one stopped working too, as far as I could tell. I read too somewhere that theoretically you could download and save Hulu videos to pc with the help of an app that has screencapture functions, but unfortunately have not had the time yet to find a good one. But will let you know if I stumble on any interesting Hulu Downloader that actually works, of course. |

Don't recall stumbling upon this one when I looked for ways to download Hulu videos but thanks for sharing it with us.I will definitely take a look at it and try it, since I do need a Hulu Downloader anyways and the other apps I've tried until now weren't able to record movies or shows from Hulu. |
